Stacey Abrams has become the poster child for the Democrat Party for this massive mail-in ballot push.
Republicans continue to resist, saying the system, as is, leads to the possibility of widespread fraud.
Ironically enough, that is the exact opinion a board member on Abrams’ Fair Fight had in a 2007 interview.
Oops
State Rep. Al Williams currently serves as a board member for Stacy Abrams’ Fair Fight organization.
The group’s mission is to fight against voting restrictions, which would include blocking mail-in ballots for all voters.
In 2007, Willaims did an interview citing that if voter fraud were to occur, mail-in voting is the most likely source of fraud.
Williams, in that interview, was pushing back against voter ID laws for in-person voting, stating this had not been a problem to that point.
He stated, “We have not one instance in 12 years – and that was a study done by the previous Secretary of State Cathy Cox – not one instance of voter fraud at the polls.
“Most of the fraud that occurs with voting is with absentee ballots, where only a signature is required.
“But none of these provisions will even addressed [in the 2007 law].”
Fair Fight, however, is pushing mail-in voting hard…

But now, Republicans across the country are putting up barriers to voting by mail—making it harder for you to get to a dropbox and giving you less time to request your mail ballot. pic.twitter.com/4ECyvQhuic

So, how can Stacey Abrams justify this man so dramatically changing his stance in such a short period of time?
We saw the problems created in 2020 with massive mail-in voting, proving Williams’ initial objections correct.
Well, we are waiting, Stacey!
