15 Dead in Latest Russian Attack Against Ukraine

Russia has reportedly launched another strategic attack against the people of Ukraine.

Reports are now surfacing that 15 Ukrainians are dead after an attack against Kharkiv.

The city was pounded by rockets in an effort to have Ukraine pull back its forces to protect civilians.

More War Crimes…

There is simply no other way to describe this than a blatant war crime.

Civilian casualties during a war are unavoidable.

Regardless of how advanced the weapons are today, accidents will happen in times of war that result in civilian deaths.

This is different, however.

These are strategic attacks against civilian targets by the Russians.

Kharkiv prosecutor Mikhailo Martosh stated, “It was shelling by Russian troops. It was probably multiple rocket launchers. And it’s the missile impact, it’s all the missile impact.”

The grandson of one of the casualties stated, “She was 85 years old. A child of the war (World War Two).

“She survived one war, but didn’t make it through this one.

“There is nowhere to flee to. Especially grandmother herself, she didn’t want to go anywhere from here.”

Local authorities stated that in addition to the 15 confirmed casualties, there were 16 more people that were injured, so the death toll could possibly increase.

Ukrainian presidential adviser Oleksiy Arestovych stated, “Russian forces are now hitting the city of Kharkiv in the same way that they previously were hitting Mariupol — with the aim of terrorizing the population.

“And if they keep doing that we will have to react — and that is one way to make us move our artillery.

“The idea is to create one big problem to distract us and force us to divert troops. I think there will be an escalation.”

I honestly have no idea how much longer the world can sit on the sidelines while this happens.

Putin is proving to be a monster beyond our wildest comprehension.

What baffles me even more is how these Russian troops can carry out these orders against civilians.

Every one of them should be prosecuted for war crimes if and when this conflict finally comes to a conclusion.
