It took Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) a minute to get there, but she finally did.
Joe Biden’s Hail Mary for rising gasoline prices is to offer a gasoline tax holiday.
After dodging the question for a bit, Warren finally gave up the tapes and admitted she does NOT support the policy.
Sorry, Joe, No
As other Democrats have done, Warren is accusing the oil industry of price gouging.
It is a bit more complicated than that, though.
Joe Biden’s new policies in trying to crush the oil industry have resulted in rising costs simply to do business.
Warren makes the point that the last time oil was at its current price, gasoline was under $2 a gallon.
She is not factoring in these other costs, lower supply, etc., that all impact prices.
This “holiday” that Biden is offering is a headline gimmick, nothing more than a band-aid that does not address the core problem: Biden is putting a chokehold on the industry.
Even Warren had to admit that the policy is not a good idea…
Most experts believe this policy will save people less than $5 a tank on a fill-up.
We all knew gasoline would go up if Joe Biden was elected.
We predicted it, most Republicans predicted it, and Donald Trump predicted it… because we all knew Joe’s plan for the oil industry.
Joe knows the solution, but he is terrified of the far left and appears to be digging in on debunked narratives to try to continue pushing this off on big oil.
