The Biden administration has blamed its immigration woes on a lot of things, but this is a new low.
Does anyone really think that if Biden tightened up the borders, people would be willing to sit in the back of a tractor-trailer in 100-plus-degree heat if they knew they would be getting sent back to Mexico?
Even so, DHS Secretary Mayorkas is putting all the blame on immigrants and not even considering the policies he has in place are to blame.
Not Our Fault
Not me… that should be the official motto of every Democrat in this administration.
The administration continues to give mixed messages on immigration.
It has ended Remain in Mexico.
They are looking to end Title 42.
The administration appears to be releasing just as many migrants as it deports, yet Mayorkas continues to say the borders are closed.
Mayorkas, on the recent deaths of more than 50 migrants near San Antonio who were stuffed into the back of a trailer like sardines, stated, “We have said repeatedly and we continue to warn people not to take the dangerous journey.
“And so, these migrants receive false information from smugglers.
“They put their lives, their life savings, in the hands of these exploitative organizations, these criminal organizations that do not care for their lives and only seek to make a profit.”
How about only legal immigrants get to stay, no exceptions, then see if people are so willing to be like a turkey in the oven to get across the border.
These deaths are on Biden officials, nobody else.
