California Governor Launches Attack Ads Against DeSantis

California Democrat Gavin Newsom appears to have some things in mind for his future.

Newsom launched attack ads against Governor DeSantis in Florida.

The ads urge Florida residents to run from DeSantis and come to California.

Ironically, a big part of the surge in Florida residency over the last few years has come from California.

Fox News Ads

Newsom spent more than $100,000 with Fox News on the ads.

Considering the content in the ads, I am somewhat surprised that Fox News even accepted the money, but I guess the almighty dollar takes precedence over the truth.

Here is the ad that aired…

The entire ad is fiction, yet it goes out on national TV as fact.

DeSantis’ team took no time at all to reply to the ads.

Dave Abrams, a campaign spokesperson, stated, “Gavin Newsom might as well light a pile of cash on fire.

“Pass the popcorn for his desperate attempt to win back the California refugees who fled the hellhole he created in his state to come to Florida.”

This is Newsom trying to raise his profile because he is about all Democrats have if Joe Biden does not run for office in 2024.

Kamala Harris is even less popular than Joe, so she is not a serious threat.

So, they have a Governor that just faced a recall election, is in charge of the state with rising crime rates, high taxes, and regularly sees blackouts during peak energy seasons as their best hope.

Chew on this, Governor Newsom…

California’s population decreased by more than 115,000 last year and more than 180,000 the year before that.

At the same time, Florida’s population has increased by more than 200,000 people in the last year alone.

Take a guess where those Californians are going.
