Is Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) about to get booted out of office?
She has been under fire since being elected, but we have never seen this much open animosity toward her in her previous elections.
Omar made an appearance at a Somali music festival in her home state this weekend, and she was booed while on the stage.
She put out a video of her attendance, but she conveniently edited the video before the naysayers had their piece.

The video below appears to have been taken at a later time in the day, however, where you can clearly hear booing as well as some zooming on in hand gestures made to Omar…

Cicely Davis, who is running against Omar, jumped all over the video after it went viral…
The only question we need to be answered now is if Davis is the right person to get Omar out of that seat and keep her out.
Honestly, I thought she was going to get tossed in 2020 after several community leaders came out against her, but she coasted to an easy victory.
Will this year be any different? Her district has a massive Somali population, so this will not be an easy out for Davis, but we do have hope that she can pull it off and rid the House of Omar once and for all.
