Donald Trump Stiffs Mark Brnovich for Blake Masters

I have been highly critical of Donald Trump’s endorsements during this campaign season and I am about to hit him again.

I disagreed with numerous endorsements he made, most notably Mehmet Oz in Pennsylvania and David Perdue in Georgia.

Trump has made another baffling endorsement that simply makes no sense… Blake Masters.

Is He Trying to Lose?

In the PA race, I thought Trump should have sat that one out.

Oz is a weak candidate with a liberal past. Even though he won the primary, it will be a shocker if he manages to win the seat in the general election.

Fetterman is doing his best to sabotage his own campaign, but conservatives are just not getting behind Oz, who was actually booed at a Trump rally earlier this year.

Perdue, as I stated many times, was a weak candidate and only endorsed by Trump because of his hate for Kemp.

Blake Masters is a whole new level of “makes no sense,” though.

Mark Brnovich seemed like a no-brainer.

He is a hardline conservative and already has the backing of Mark Levin and Sean Hannity.

He has a record to stand on as an attorney general and has the name recognition to take out Senator Mark Kelly (D-AZ).

Trump, however, is backing Blake Masters, who, by all apparent signs, is a lunatic.

He has quoted Nazis, cites the Unabomber’s Manifesto, and his campaign is backed by Peter Thiel, who is deeply entrenched in the tech world.

Thiel supported John McCain and is buddy-buddy with Ann Coulter, another lunatic.

The left will exploit this relationship if Masters wins this primary, probably just enough to get Kelly re-elected.

Kelly is vulnerable right now and doing everything he can to distance himself from Joe Biden.

A clean candidate takes this race fairly easily, but Masters is anything but a “clean” candidate.

This is about winning with a strong candidate who supports a MAGA agenda, and that is Mark Brnovich.

Trump made a big mistake here, and if costs Republicans this seat, it is all on him.

At this point, the three most susceptible seats could fall because of Trump candidates.

That being PA, Georgia, and AZ. As I have said many times, I could care less about his endorsement record in primaries.

This is about the general election, period, and we need these seats if we are going to control Congress and turn Biden into a lame duck.
