Birds of a feather…
Andrew Cuomo was ousted from office due to multiple sex scandals.
He was arrogant, defiant, and thought he could get through it with only minor dings.
As it turns out, he was getting advice, bad advice, from a very experienced man in this field… Bill Clinton.
Help Me Out, Bill
I have to give Cuomo credit; if you are going to call a fellow party member, you might as well go to the expert in the field.
However, considering Bill’s sexual exploits almost got him kicked out of office, Cuomo would have been better served to do this alone.
A new book by Democrat strategist Lis Smith claims that Bill Clinton was the one guiding Cuomo through the murky waters.
Clinton allegedly recommended Cuomo hold a public presser to address the allegations.
The one truly insightful thing that Bill reportedly told Cuomo was that the scandal would end his career, and it did.
Bill was empathetic with Cuomo, unlike many of his other advisers.
Cuomo’s other advisers overruled Clinton, believing that the public presser would be a bad idea, so it was nixed.
Bill Clinton, like Cuomo, continues to deny that he ever did anything wrong, so they also have that in common.
