Over the last week or so, the military aid provided by the United States to Ukraine has made a significant difference.
The long-range missiles have allowed Ukraine to return the favor and hit Russia on its own soil.
Russia is now getting quite agitated, demanding the United States stop providing aid or it will expand its operations.
Going to Warsaw
Russia is now threatening to expand its operations beyond Ukraine, which will surely not go over too well with NATO nations.
Here is the thing, though…
When the long-range missiles were provided to Ukraine, my understanding of the aid agreement was that Ukraine would not use them to launch attacks on Russian soil.
Now, I think we all knew that once they had them in hand, that is exactly what they were going to do in order to level the playing field.
The most recent strike took out more than four dozen Russians, according to Ukraine.
Russian TV, a state-sponsored media outlet, is now issuing threats, which we have to assume is a message approved by the Kremlin and Putin.
TV host Olga Skabeyeva stated, “If God forbid, Americans deliver missiles that can travel 186 miles. Then we simply can’t stop.
“We’ll go all the way to Warsaw.”
Poland is a NATO partner, so any attack against Poland would significantly escalate this conflict.
Neither Poland nor US officials have commented on this threat.
