By now, most of you have seen the ridiculous video of AOC pretending to have cuffs on during her arrest.
Most mainstream media outlets bought into it too, posting pictures from the front to buy into the narrative that they were actually handcuffed and taken away.
Well, as it turns out, it was all staged, every last bit of it.
Performative Art
More than a few people took a shot at AOC for her grand performance.
Make no mistake about it, it was just that, complete with notice to the world that it was going to happen…

AOC even admitted that members of Congress were asked to “submit themselves for arrest.”
On her Instagram account, she wrote, “This was an activist-led civil disobedience, where activists & organizers from [the far-left Center for Popular Democracy Action Fund ] + others asked members of Congress to submit themselves for arrest in front of the Supreme Court.”
So not only was this staged, but the Capitol Police were complicit in the charade.
Oh, officer, please pretend to arrest me so I can be a hero of the liberal horde.
This was nothing more than a publicity stunt… members of Congress playacting for headlines while they collect a paycheck with our tax dollars.
It is good to see that we are getting something from lawmakers for our hard-earned money.
