Kamala Takes Hit on Drug Prosecutions

While Kamala Harris let all of her political donors and buddies run wild when she was a prosecutor, the thing she did was aggressively prosecute drug offenders.

During her career, Harris put away roughly 2,000 people over marijuana violations.

So, when she slammed the Russians for sentencing Brittney Griner to nine years, the trolls came out in force to call her out.

You Hypocrite!

Harris, after Griner was sentenced, stated, “With today’s sentencing, Russia continues its wrongful detention of Brittney Griner.

“She should be released immediately.

“@POTUS and I, and our entire Administration, are working every day to reunite Brittney, as well as Paul Whelan, with loved ones who miss each of them dearly.”

Harris, at the time, was a vocal critic of marijuana being legalized.

Writer Tim Young was among the first to take her out, stating, “Brittney Griner got 9 years for drug possession in Russia… which sounds like most of the criminal sentences Kamala Harris got people for the same thing when she was attorney general of California.”

Another person responded, “You locked up people for possession of marijuana. And you’re only condemning this because the US cannot profit from her incarceration in Russia.”

This was one of my favorites, however…

The damning thing for Harris is that most of the people that were locked up were for low-level prosecutions.

Former Democrat congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard was more than happy to pile on, stating, “She put over 1,500 people in jail for marijuana violations and then laughed about it when she was asked if she ever smoked marijuana.”

It’s about time Democrats learn the truth about the woman they elected to office.
