On Wednesday, FBI Director Wray finally spoke about the raid on Donald Trump’s home.

The only problem was that he still did not address why the raid occurred.

Instead, he lashed out over online threats that had been made against him, Merrick Garland, the agency, and law enforcement.

What Did He Expect?

The secrecy behind this raid has millions of people fuming around the country.

Nobody is willing to talk about it publicly, which only adds to the anger.

Numerous threats have been made, with some talking about starting a civil war rather than continuing to be subject to these types of attacks from the government.

Wray stated, “I’m always concerned about threats to law enforcement.

“Violence against law enforcement is not the answer, no matter who you’re upset with.”

He would go on to call the threats “deplorable and dangerous.”

On Gab, a post stated, “All it takes is one call.

“And millions will arm up and take back this country.

“It will be over in less than 2 weeks.”

Another post read, “Lets get this started! This unelected, illegitimate regime crossed the line with their GESTAPO raid!

“It is long past time the lib socialist filth were cleansed from American society!”

This outrage is not only among private citizens but also among members of Congress.

Most Republican leaders have demanded transparency, with Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) now openly threatening to impeach Merrick Garland.

He stated, “Without question, I think the order to allow the raid on Mar-a-Lago on Trump’s house has to be revealed.

“It’s going to have to wait until November till there’s a full investigation.

“And I’ve never been a fan of overusing impeachment, but I think there has to be an investigation.

“And if it warrants it, there’s going to have to be a look at whether or not the attorney general has misused his office for political purposes.

“Have they gone after a political opponent? I mean, this is beyond the pale.

“No one would have ever imagined before that we would be using or one political party would be using the FBI to attack their political opponents.

“Now, this is really something that’s going to require an investigation.

“And I wouldn’t be surprised if the investigation leads to abuse of power that this could even lead to an impeachment of the attorney general.”

We are now roughly 72 hours since the raid took place and not a single word has been uttered regarding the raid’s purpose or what they found.

That, simply, is unacceptable.
