The era of American-made muscle cars is starting to come to a close.
Hearing that gasoline-powered V-8 turbocharged engine is about to be a thing of the past.
Dodge has opened a door I would expect most car manufacturers to start to walk through.
End of an Era
In its infinite wisdom, Dodge is ending its gasoline-powered muscle car program.
Tim Kuniskis, Dodge brand chief executive officer of Stellantis, stated, “We are celebrating the end of an era — and the start of a bright new electrified future — by staying true to our brand.”
Effective December 2023, the last Chargers and Challengers will be rolled off the line.
Dodge is going all-in on electric vehicles.
Electric cars account for about five percent of all vehicle sales, but Democrats are trying to ram them down everyone’s throats and crush the fossil fuel industry.
So, Dodge will do its part and end a popular line to cave to the far left and its extremist agenda.
