Just run for president because that is what Joe Biden did.
The man who ended the building of our own border wall not only wasted billions on that, but he also added $500,000 to the taxpayer tab by erecting a massive fence around his Delaware beach vacation home.
Walls for Thee
It makes a lot of sense, right?
Walls apparently do not work to protect our border, but Joe Biden gets a wall to protect the riffraff from entering his beach space.
The contract was awarded by the Department of Homeland Security not long after Biden took office.
Now, however, the fence costs have ballooned by almost 10 percent, no doubt due to supply chain issues.
The home was already worth about $2.7 million, so the taxpayers just gave some extra equity along with that security.
Joe is expected to be at the beach house this weekend.
He did have a hard couple of weeks, though, so he deserves the break.
Let’s see…
He spent almost two weeks in isolation with COVID, then went to South Carolina on vacation.
He returned to DC for half a day to sign some legislation, then he headed to his Delaware home for two days before heading to his beach house.
The irony in this entire fence debacle is like everything else in this government, it is just slogging along, and will not be complete until next summer.
Point being, by the time they finish the fence, Biden will only have a year left in office, so there was clearly no sense of urgency, therefore, I have to question the actual need for the fence in the first place.
This is literally theft of assets from the American people.
If Biden were the CEO of a company instead of occasionally sitting in the Oval Office, he would be getting indicted for embezzlement right now.
He is stealing a paycheck and paying for home improvements with company money.
