Once again, the media has proven that it is far from fair in its reporting between the left and right.
ABC’s George Stephanopoulos was discussing what will be the hot topic of the week… the January 6 Capitol riot.
The issue was that he seemingly forgot how liberals reacted in 2016 after Trump was elected.
Election Problems
The last two presidential elections in this country have been a complete joke, and this is putting it mildly.
In 2016, Hillary Clinton led the charge that the election had been rigged… and the media bought into it.
Throughout Trump’s term, Democrats, liberals, and Hillary claimed Trump was not a legitimate president and that the election had been stolen.
In 2020, that shoe went on Donald Trump’s foot.
Both elections had one thing in common other than the claim… there was rioting after the election.
In 2020-21, one event got out of control at the Capitol.
In 2016-17, it was a steady stream of riots around the country over Trump being elected.
Yet, Stephanopoulos did not quite see it that way. He says Democrats and liberals did not act this way after Trump was elected, claiming the rioting after the 2020 election was unprecedented.
Thankfully, Sarah Isgur pushed back on this claim.
Isgur stated, “You look back at 2017, look at the ABC poll on whether Trump was legitimately elected. It was about six to eight points off of this one right now, not that far off. Hillary Clinton asked in 2017, was Trump legitimately elected, point blank. She did not say yes. She said she had questions.
“You think Democrats, if Donald Trump runs again, if Donald Trump wins in 2024, you think Democrats are going to think he was legitimately elected? You got to be kidding me.”

Every liberal on that panel completely ignored the fact rioting was occurring in DC on the day that Trump was innagurated!
The fact they are so ignorant to say that liberals did not take like action from January 6 is completely inaccurate.
