Recently, the Supreme Court heard arguments on Joe Biden’s vaccine mandates.
When the opinions were rendered, it was a split decision.
The rule for health care workers was permitted to remain in place, which was the feel based on the justices’ comments during the arguments.
The OSHA rule was struck down.
It was not the ruling that upset Bill Maher, but rather the fact that a Supreme Court justice was pushing misinformation during the arguments.
Just Ignorant
During the arguments, Justice Sotomayor claimed that 100,000 children had been hospitalized with COVID.
Her number was only off by about 96 percent, but it does go to show how decisions are being made on information that is either false or misunderstood.
Maher went ballistic on Sotomayor, stating, “I mean, that’s really ignorant for a Supreme Court justice.
“So don’t be the ‘We’re the people who believe in science,’ but you don’t have the facts! I read this before, like 41% of Democrats last year thought that over 50% of people who got COVID were hospitalized.
“It was less than 1%.”
Maher also blasted Dems on the general perception they are giving off to the American people right now.
He stated, “The people with, you know, the consulting jobs, whatever bulls— they do, they get to say at home and order the food out and do s— by Zoom and whereas the working-class people who are breathing their s—-y air all day.
“It’s going to create class resentment. I mean, it looks like the liberals are always suggesting sacrifices they themselves don’t have to take part in.”
