Remember when Trump administration officials pitched the narrative that COVID was a result of experiments that had accidentally leaked from the Wuhan research lab?
Remember how Democrats called it a conspiracy theory and the media did not even try to investigate the claim?
Well, as it turns, this was a widely popular belief among our scientific community here and abroad, only they were all told to shut up.
Very Real Concerns
I have read through dozens, if not hundreds, of emails between scientists that were released via an FOIA inquiry.
Clearly, there was a belief that the sequencing of this virus appeared to many to have been a manmade virus.
Our own agencies were looking at this option until the idea was dismissed by department heads, some of them even citing starting conspiracy theories, not science, as the reason.
As it turns out, this was a widely held belief that was kept quiet and shunned.
Australian Dr. Nikolai Petrovsky, a Flinders University Medicine professor, “It shot from every direction from people who we now know were actually thinking exactly the same thing but have chosen to say the opposite, which is extraordinary.”
Petrovsky, on the lab-leak theory finally getting grip, stated, “It’s taken two years for that to finally come out and be exposed.”
This is a rather stunning revelation that has us all asking, “Why?”
I have not heard anyone openly accuse China of purposely leaking the virus, but rather an accident at the lab.
That being said, why is everyone in the scientific world protecting China for the actual truth getting out?
Does anyone realize how much quicker we would have been able to get a handle on this had we known the origin?
Fox News digs into this a bit deeper…
What do you think? Do you believe the virus originated at the Wuhan lab or do you believe it was naturally occurring?
