Joe Biden’s Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Milley, reportedly gave lawmakers a brutal wake-up call.

According to Milley, if Russia decides to move on Ukraine, it will take only about 72 hours for the country to fall.

Multiple congressional sources confirmed the report on Fox News.

Milley reportedly held a closed-door meeting with lawmakers earlier in the week.

During that meeting, he reportedly told them the fall of Kyiv would be imminent if Russia did a full-scale invasion.

His assessment stated that roughly 15,000 Ukraine troops would be killed in such a battle, with Russia expected to take about 4,000 fatalities.

Lawmakers hit Milly back, arguing that Biden did not act quickly enough, putting an ally at risk.

We also have to wonder that if the fall of Kyiv is so certain, why are we sending hundreds of millions of dollars of military supplies to Ukraine?

Is this all optics merely to say that we did everything we could to prevent the country from falling when that is clearly not the case?

And the United States is far from alone in this venture.

Reports stated that the UK also sent something in the neighborhood of $600 million in security assistance to Ukraine.

Collectively, it is about $1 billion, but for what?

Also reportedly at the briefing, according to Fox News, were Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin, Director of National Intelligence Avril Haines, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark Milley, Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, Deputy Treasury Secretary Wally Adeyemo, Deputy Commerce Secretary Don Graves, and USAID Deputy Administrator Ambassador Isobel Coleman.

The real focus of the Biden administration appears to be to bring in more migrant refugees to the United States if an invasion does occur.

Reports are now surfacing that plans are already being put in place to accommodate Ukrainian refugees if this happens.

I have said it before, but it must be repeated… if Ukraine is permitted to fall, the United States loses all legitimacy in terms of protecting its allies.

You better believe every ally we have is watching this right now.

If Kyiv does fall, it will be yet another foreign policy disaster for an administration in dire need of a significant win.
