This may surprise you, but Joe Biden is doing what he wants, not what is required of him by law.

In June 2021, a court order was issued to block Biden’s ban on new oil and gas leases.

Once again, even amid an energy crisis, Joe Biden has defied the deadline, blatantly violating the court order.

Work Like the Devil

Joe Biden’s band-aid for high gasoline prices has literally run out of gas.

The emergency release of reserves is gone, and now gasoline prices are surging again.

Last week, Joe Biden told the nation, “I’m going to work like the devil to get gas prices down.”

He lied…

There is one straightforward answer to this… do the domestic leases again.

That has not been missed by the industry.

Kathleen Sgamma, president of the Western Energy Alliance, stated, “President Biden just told the American people he’ll work like the devil to lower prices at the gas pump.

“But the lack of progress on federal lease sales means he’s not trying very hard.

“The department continues to miss deadlines, drag its feet, and ignore a judge’s ruling to hold sales.

“The Biden Administration is intent on preventing American producers from developing the energy we have at home to meet our country’s needs and lower gas prices.”

Per the Mineral Leasing Act of 1920, the Department of the Interior is required to hold lease sales, at the very least, every quarter.

Biden has missed that window again.

Sgamma added, “The oil and natural gas on federal public lands belong to the American people and could help the nation lower energy prices.

“Instead, the president lobbies Russia and OPEC to boost their production while constraining American producers.

“As a result, gas prices remain high and the president makes empty promises.”

This cannot be stressed enough… Joe Biden created this crisis.

The fix is right in the palm of his hand, and he refuses to do it, even though he is required by law to do so.

When are Americans going to say ENOUGH?!
