For weeks now, Joe Biden has continuously stated that he will stand behind Ukraine.

That support, however, comes with a caveat.

The United States will not commit troops to the conflict with Russia.

Biden has also refused to take pre-emptive measures to prevent Putin from making a move.

This, in essence, means that Ukraine will fall.

No Troops

To be clear, the last thing I want is our troops squaring off against Russians.

On that issue, Joe Biden was right… it would be WWIII.

Having said that, there were measures that Biden could have taken weeks ago that could have possibly prevented this.

Rather than announcing what Biden would do, he should have just done it.

Meaning, by giving the Russian oligarchs more than a month’s notice, you better believe their money has been hidden and the proper steps taken to ensure Russia can withstand the sanctions Biden kept threatening.

Should Joe Biden have frozen Russian assets in this country and throughout Europe when the first whispers of the invasion started?

Should Biden have removed visas for powerful Russian oligarchs and booted them out of the country?

Should Biden have issued crushing sanctions months ago?

He could have done all or any of that with the promise to lift them as soon as Russia signed an agreement that Ukraine would not be touched.

Instead, there was never a real threat until after the fact.

Russia now knows it can roll over Ukraine, committing the most horrific war crimes and human rights violations possible, and nothing will be done about it.

Psaki confirmed this, stating, “What I will tell you is that the president has been crystal clear and consistent. He is not sending U.S. troops to fight in Ukraine. That has not changed.

“I don’t know how many more times I can say it. There is no scenario – the president is not sending U.S. troops to fight in Ukraine against Russia.”

Additionally, embassy operations in Ukraine have been officially moved to Poland.

Afghanistan was abandoned… Ukraine has been abandoned… what is next?

Here is the bigger question… what happens now when the United States calls for its allies to help?

Will they heed our call or will they abandon us at the worst possible moment?

As much as I despise Joe Biden, I was truly hoping for a peaceful end to this situation out of fear of what will happen globally with Russian absorbing Ukraine into its empire.

How much damage can Joe Biden do in four years? Well, perhaps we should ask the people of Ukraine to answer that question now.
