House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) sat next to someone that tested positive for COVID.
So, now she wants American taxpayers to pony up an additional $45 billion for COVID relief.
That is double the amount the puppet was going to request from Congress.
Not My Money
Joe Biden asked Congress for an additional $22.5 billion for COVID relief.
Republicans objected, so that number dropped down to $15.6 billion.
That money, however, will be separate legislation, as it was removed from the $1.5 billion omnibus legislation that Biden just signed to avoid a government shutdown.
Pelosi wants to make a big splash for mid-terms, so now she wants a bill with a $45 billion price tag.
Keep in mind that there are still billions of unused monies from previous legislation, which does not include all the money reallocated to other programs.
COVID has become the new piggybank for Democrat spending.
On increasing the funding, Pelosi stated, “I think it should be double what they asked for, because even when they were asking for like 20-some [billion dollars] it was only going to get us to June.”
How about an accounting for that money… let’s see an exact price tag for every program this will fund.
Pelosi added, “What I’ve said to the administration is … you must ask for more.
“Because we need more, and you can’t expect money, this [bill], to turn around just like that because the legislative process takes time.
“We want it to be bipartisan; we need it to be paid for. And so let’s just go for a bigger chunk.”
So far, the American taxpayer has ponied up $5 trillion for COVID relief, and she wants to spend more when it is clearly not necessary.
This is just another excuse to rescue and load up states with excessive funding out of the federal till, and it must be stopped.
National Debt is now over $30 trillion and growing larger with every passing second.
Digest that…
