Republicans smell blood in the water.
Now that liberal media outlets have conceded that Hunter Biden’s laptop actually existed (even though the FBI does not seem able to find it), they are going for broke.
On Monday, two Republican Senators raised questions about a possible $100,000 payment made to Hunter Biden by Chinese Oligarchs.
About That Money
The fact that Hunter may still have Chinese business interests is a real problem.
It is no secret that Hunter is not exactly the most standup guy around.
His lifestyle and drug habits make him a problem for any politician, let alone having a father that is currently residing at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue on a part-time basis.
If those business ties are still active, it could be a national security risk.
Republican Senator Ron Johnson stated, “Over the course of our investigation into how Hunter Biden used his father’s position and name to enrich himself and his family, the dishonest press published countless stories reporting on the Democrats’ false charge that we were soliciting and disseminating Russian disinformation.
“Once we issued our September and November 2020 reports, which were based almost exclusively on U.S. sourced documents and interviews with U.S. citizens, the media largely ignored it.
“When they did write a story on it, they declared that our reports found nothing new. A classic media cover-up.”
He continued, “That’s why we’re presenting additional evidence today and over the next few days.
“For example, this is the first time this document is being made public. It shows that money from CEFC – which is effectively an arm of the Chinese Government – went directly to Hunter Biden.”
A receipt provided to Senators Grassley and Johnson showed a $100,000 payment from a Chinese energy company to Wells Fargo Cleaning Services with “further credit” going to a company owned by Hunter Biden, Owasco.
Johnson added, “Bank records like this piece of evidence are pretty hard to deny and sweep under the rug.
“Our reports were chocked full of irrefutable evidence like this. And yet, the media buried those details, in an attempt to keep it hidden from the American people.”
We know the Bidens are corrupt; now it is just a matter of the media publishing the evidence and stop protecting Joe Biden.
However, that is a big ask considering how much they despise Donald Trump, knowing if they take Biden down, Trump looms as the next president.
