After the horrifying events that took place in Uvalde, TX, liberals thought they had their opportunity to pounce.
Watching social media feeds, the one constant on their timelines was that this would turn people against Governor Abbott and put Beto O’Rourke into office.
Bad news for liberals… the exact opposite has happened.
Abbott Soars
Abbott did not sink in the polls.
O’Rourke’s disgusting little stunt during the press conference did the exact opposite of what he had hoped.
The latest Blue Print poll now has Abbott with a 56 percent approval rating to Beto’s 37 percent.

At 19 points, it is Abbott’s most significant lead yet.
O’Rourke made national headlines when he confronted Abbott in Uvalde after the shooting, trying to pin the blame for the shooting directly on Abbott.
Even those that do not support Abbott rushed to his defense, even more so after the details of the police response had been broken down.
As I have stated before, it is not easy to make a stance during difficult times such as this, but Abbott stood strong, and he has been rewarded for it.
Beto, you are going down in flames, again.
