Republican Texas Governor Greg Abbot is doing more to secure our border than Joe Biden.

Governor Abbott and Coahuila Governor Miguel Ángel Riquelme Solís have reportedly come to an agreement.

To clear up the congestion due to Abbott’s increased security checks, Riquelme Solis has agreed to increase security on his end to do the checks to ensure illegals are not in vehicles crossing over the border.

Abbott’s security checks created quite the buzz in DC.

As soon as the announcement was made, the White House blamed supply chain problems on Abbott, as though these problems were not already in place.

Abbott also carried out a massive publicity stunt by busing illegals and dropping them off by the Capitol.

I believe eight buses have gone to DC so far, carrying about 150 illegals in total.

Abbott got ripped by some of his fellow Republicans for the stunt, but it was more of a protest and to make a point than it was anything else.

We all knew this was going to do little to impact the overall situation, but he was making a point and it got the media to cover it, so I would say that it was a success for its intended purpose.

Abbott quickly took a victory lap after the new agreement was signed…

I know a lot of people both in and out of Texas do not like Abbott, but he has my vote.

I am not saying the man is perfect, but I think he gets a lot more right than he does wrong.
