This weekend, Energy Secretary Granholm did an interview that had everyone scratching their head.
This administration has done its best to destroy fossil fuel production in this country, yet she laughed hysterically at the idea of ramping up oil production to help lower the cost of gasoline for Americans.
When Granholm stated that she was “hoping” gas prices did not rise to $4 per gallon, well, that was all it took for Governor Abbott of Texas to fire off an attack.
No Reason to Hope
All it would take to start to offset the rising costs of fuel would be for Biden to reopen some pipelines and remove the noose he put around the neck of the fossil fuel industry in this country.
To that very point, the Biden administration is now reportedly considering halting Line 5, an oil pipeline that delivers petroleum from Canada to Michigan.
There is little doubt if that pipeline gets shut down, gas prices will go through the roof, but there are even larger concerns.
That concern would be if we will have enough resources to get through the winter with this new woke energy agenda the administration is putting forward.
After Secretary Granholm literally laughed about the idea of rising gas prices and increasing domestic pil production, Texas Governor Abbott let her have it…

Gas prices would go down if Biden stopped hindering the energy sector in America.

Granholm has contended that the United States has no control over oil pricing.
During a recent interview on CNN, she stated, “Of course, every president is frustrated because they can’t control the price of gasoline because it’s a global market.
“You can call upon increased supply, which he has done, and OPEC is, unfortunately, controlling the agenda with respect to oil prices. OPEC is a cartel, and it controls over 50 percent of the supply of gasoline.”
That, of course, is a completely misleading statement.
The United States is only limited by OPEC pricing because we now rely so heavily in its oil, which was not the case under the Trump administration.
Abbott has been on this administration for months over this…

Texas can do this.
Our producers can easily produce that oil if your Administration will just stay out of the way.
Allow American workers—not OPEC—produce the oil that can reduce the price of gasoline.
