Huma Abedin was Hillary’s right hand for years, but she also made headlines due to her personal life and marriage to the disgusting Anthony Weiner.
In her new book, “Both/And: A Life in Many Worlds,” Abedin finally opens up about some of the problems she faced in her marriage.
Breaking Point
At one point, Weiner was an up-and-coming politician.
He took his first hit in 2011 when some lewd pictures surfaced.
At that point, he resigned from Congress, but he decided to make a comeback two years later by running for mayor of New York.
That was a big mistake, as more pictures surfaced, eventually leading to the end of their marriage.
On initially sticking by his side, Abedin stated, “I didn’t think it was right for him to go out on his own because I had encouraged him to run.”
Abedin tried to keep the family together, but she did eventually hit her breaking point over their son’s well-being.
When the second group of photos surfaced, the family was put under investigation by child services, so she decided that was the “last straw.”
Abedin discussed some of this as well during a recent CBS interview…
Weiner did eventually plead guilty to charges, serving a short sentence in federal prison.
