When Joe Biden returned to the White House, he went to the fake White House set to field questions from reporters.

Biden called on Fox News’ Peter Doocy, who hit him on the reporting of a $450,000 payment being paid out to illegal immigrants who were separated under the Trump administration.

Biden called the report “garbage,” stating that it is “not going to happen.”

Now the ACLU, who was negotiating on behalf of the illegal immigrants with the Biden DOJ, pushed back.

Doocy hit Biden on several fronts.

First, he hammered Biden on the election losses, where Biden blamed everyone but himself.

Then he transitioned over to immigration, looking for clarification on the report that broke just as Biden was headed overseas last week.

ACLU Executive Director Anthony D. Romero immediately pushed back, stating, “President Biden may not have been fully briefed about the actions of his very own Justice Department as it carefully deliberated and considered the crimes committed against thousands of families separated from their children as an intentional governmental policy.

“But if he follows through on what he said, the president is abandoning a core campaign promise to do justice for the thousands of separated families.

“We respectfully remind President Biden that he called these actions’ criminal’ in a debate with then-President Trump and campaigned on remedying and rectifying the lawlessness of the Trump administration.

“We call on President Biden to right the wrongs of this national tragedy.”

There is undoubtedly a paper trail if negotiations are in place and this deal is as close to happening as the ACLU says it is.

And, if this happened without Biden’s knowledge, well, this is yet another major problem for Biden.

He has once again put himself into a no-win situation, which will make him look foolish either way.

This man is in deep, deep trouble.
