Eric Adams’ Act Wearing Thin on New Yorkers

Like many around the country, having a former police officer, even though he is a Democrat, was a welcome change in New York City.

The city had gone into the gutter under de Blasio, and it was time for some law and order.

Mayor Adams promised that on the campaign trail, but after 100 days, he has failed to deliver, and voters are getting a little tired of this failed act.

Say One Thing, Do Another

Crime has not taken a turn for the better under Adams.

In fact, on the surface, or should I see below the surface, it has gotten far worse.

It seems as though a subway attack is being reported in the city every day.

Additionally, Adams is taking heat for some of the ridiculous COVID mandates that remain in place.

At the top of that list are preschoolers still wearing masks.

He was supposed to stop the de Blasio idiocy, not continue it.

Not only that, now he has gotten into a social media and advertising war with Governor DeSantis, trying to lure Floridians to New York City when his residents are fleeing in record numbers to states like Florida.

Adams still clearly has time, but he is losing steam very quickly.

Most of the country was rooting for him, both conservatives and liberals, when he took over New York City because change for the better seemed very promising.

There has been change, but it has been for the worse.

It has only been 100 days, so he can still fix this, but he better do it soon or he will head down that liberal rabbit hole of no return.
