Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) is all-in on going after Trump and his allies.

To that point, Schiff has been leading the charge to have the DOJ go after every Trump associate disregarding the congressional subpoenas issued by the January 6 Select Committee.

Steve Bannon has already been indicted, and now Schiff has stated that Mark Meadows could be next.

So far, this entire committee has been a disaster for Democrats and House Speaker Pelosi (D-CA).

The committee has come up empty, and even embarrassingly accused someone of being at a meeting when that individual was more than 300 miles away.

Trump has been fighting to keep his allies away from the committee by executive privilege, a matter that is still being litigated.

Even so, Schiff says they may be going after former Chief of Staff Mark Meadows later this week.

Schiff stated, “I think we will probably make a decision this week on our course of conduct with that particular witness and maybe others.

“I can’t go into what communications that we’re having or haven’t had with particular witnesses.

“But we are moving with alacrity with anyone who obstructs the committee, and that was certainly the case with Mr. Bannon.”

The committee has been trying to keep information under wraps, something that Steve Bannon is working hard to expose.

Bannon has filed a motion to have all non-classified documents regarding his case made open to the public.

The DOJ is pushing back, accusing him of creating a spectacle, but that is really what his entire committee is about.

Pelosi started to the committee to try to block Trump and win political points, but she has accomplished neither so far.

Instead, this stunt continues to blow up in the face of Democrats, something I would expect only to get worse if Schiff follows through on this latest threat.
