Joe Biden is getting testy about having to defend giving money to people that broke the law.
On Saturday, the real Joe Biden showed up when a Fox News reporter asked him to clarify payments being made to illegal immigrants.
Biden clearly lost his cool, angrily pointing at the reporter, saying that illegals “deserve” compensation.
Calm Down, Joe
David Spunt put Biden on the spot again, and he did not appreciate it.
Spunt challenged Biden on initially calling the payments to illegals a “garbage” report.
Biden denied he said it, then tried to spit in that he was referring to the payment amount, not the report.
Anyone who saw the exchange he initially had with Peter Doocy knows that was not the case, however.
Regardless, when Spunt challenged Biden on the report, Biden just about lost his mind.
Angrily, Biden charged “the outrageous behavior of the last administration” for being responsible for the payments in the first place.
“Whether [the border crossing] was legal or illegal, and you lost your child.
“You lost your child, it’s gone — you deserve some kind of compensation, no matter what the circumstance.
“What that will be, I have no idea.”
Well, they didn’t lose their child, Joe, they were separated because they broke the law and were taken into custody.
When you break the law and go to jail, you don’t get to take your kids to prison with you.
If I were incarcerated right now, I would be on the phone with my attorney getting ready to file a suit if my child had been placed in the care of Child Services.
This is a very dangerous and expensive precedent being set here, and it simply cannot be permitted to happen.
They broke the law, Joe, and you don’t get rewarded for that.
