Senator Tom Cotton (R-AR) was on the road this week to campaign in Iowa for some of his fellow Republicans.
While there, Cotton went off about Joe Biden and his decision to have a holiday this past weekend.
Cotton, among other claims, stated that Biden was “adding embarrassment” to “humiliation” by taking the weekend off.
A Short Work Week
Joe Biden had a big decision to make on Friday.
Does he stay in DC for the weekend and subject himself to questions, or does he go and hide in Rehoboth Beach to recover from his big four-day workweek to get ready for the UN conference.
We all know what he chose.
On the trip, Cotton stated, “I think it’s an embarrassment. Simply adding embarrassment to the humiliation of Joe Biden’s reckless abandonment of Americans in Afghanistan.
“He made a decision to get our troops out of Afghanistan by September 11, which he thought was a politically symbolic date.
“But it was a tactically disastrous date right in the middle of the fighting season as the Taliban had geared up to fight again.
“And the symbolism turned out to be the Taliban flag flying over what once was the American embassy.”
It is just a shame that bar the few exceptions, most mainstream media outlets are barely touching this.
I honestly thought that once it became evident the administration killed civilians and lied about it, the mainstream media would come around, but those hopes are quickly getting dashed.
