A bit of a bizarre scene played out in Florida recently.

Alexander Acs had been arrested on Monday on charges related to a carjacking.

Under questioning, he told police he had murdered someone, then led them to the body.

Early Sunday, police were called to investigate a carjacking in Orlando.

The suspect was believed to have slashed the victim with a box cutter and taking the car.

The victim, in that case, was taken to a nearby hospital and expected to recover.

Police were finally able to track down the suspect, Acs, and take him into custody.

While being questioned, he copped to having allegedly killed another man in an apartment in the Orlando area the previous week.

According to the report, he killed the man with a piece of asphalt.

He then took police to the exact location of the body, where they found a body that had already started to badly decompose.

Acs told the officers that he confessed because he wanted to receive the death penalty for his crimes.

He further told the officers that if he did not receive the death penalty, he would “kill a corrections officer in hopes that gets him the death penalty.”

I am sure Governor DeSantis will be more than happy to grease the ways for him.

If this were in New York, the man would probably be out on bail right now.
