John Durham just dropped a bombshell in the Russian origin’s probe.
The New York Times is reporting that Igor Danchenko has been arrested.
Danchenko was Christopher Steele’s primary analyst for the now-infamous dossier.
Bombshell Arrest
Danchenko is no stranger to controversy or alleged illegal activity.
He was actually investigated during the Obama administration as a possible Russian operative operating in D.C.
He gained his 15 seconds of fame while working for the Brookings Institute for accusing Vladimir Putin of plagiarizing his economics dissertation.
He then went to work for Christopher Steele’s firm, Orbis Business International (OBI).
While working for OBI, he served as Steele’s primary analyst when the dossier to take down Trump was put together.
Early Thursday, Danchenko was taken into custody, having been charged with five counts of making false statements…

Ironically, it was a 2017 interview with the FBI that led to the Steele dossier being debunked in the first place.
This arrest follows the indictment former DNC attorney Michael Sussman, who was also charged with the lying during an investigation.
While Durham is making progress, we still want to see a big apple fall from this tree, hopefully leading to Hillary Clinton and/or the DNC.
This is a breaking story and we will continue to monitor for updates.
