Immigrant Groups Beginning to Arrive at Border

We are about two weeks from Title 42 expiring.

As predicted, large groups of immigrants are already starting to arrive at the border in anticipation.

According to border officials, groups in the hundreds are showing up expecting a free pass into the country.

Here They Come

So far, six groups have arrived.

Officials stated that there are 1,029 of them in total, with more coming.

There are 301 unaccompanied children, 322 family units, and 406 single adults within the group.

Just outside of Eagle Pass, TX, two large groups were spotted of 126 and 131.

Another group was spotted later in the day, also with 131 people.

Border Patrol stated, “The logistics required to transport and process groups of this size continue to place a strain on manpower and resources, as often they are encountered in desolate areas often inaccessible to large transport vehicles.”

April’s numbers have not yet been released, but March set a record for illegal encounters under this administration.

A total of 221,303 encounters occurred, setting a new record for the Biden administration.

Sadly, this is just the beginning.

With Title 42 set to expire on May 23, these numbers are expected to grow dramatically.
