Michigan Democratic Governor Gretchen Whitmer is NOT going to win her bid for reelection.

People don’t even care who wins, as long as it’s not her.

She’s currently losing in the polls to “unnamed GOP opponent.”

That’s not a joke.

ARW Strategies conducted the poll from April 18 to April 20.

Gretchen Whitmer is polling at 45%, one point behind “generic Republican candidate.”

Whitmer has known she’s facing an uphill battle for a while. At the end of last year, Cook Political Report shifted Whitmer’s race from “lean D” to “toss up.”

One could argue that Republicans have gained even more ground since then.

If you’ve been keeping an eye on Whitmer’s approval rating, you probably saw this coming.

Over 50% of Michigan voters have an unfavorable opinion of her.
