Imagine giving up 15 years of your life to serve this country.
Imagine being a Delta Force or Navy SEAL that spent most of your career seeing shots fired in anger that nobody even knew about.
You truly did this for love of country, and now that country is about to betray you because you don’t want to take a shot.

Sadly, that is the dilemma many veterans face, regardless of time of service, for resisting the COVID-19 vaccine.
Republicans recently introduced legislation to ensure any active military discharged for refusing to take the vaccine get an honorable discharge.
The White House, however, is saying, “No.”
Instead, the White House supports dishonorable discharges for any active member who will not take the vaccine, which means complete loss of benefits, including VA care…

It is bad enough that the military is about to kick troops out, but taking away their benefits, especially for the long-timers, is an absolute disgrace.
We simply cannot allow this to happen.
Discharge them, fine, but they must be able to keep their benefits, especially those that have seen shots fired in anger.
