One of the questions put to Joe Biden during his press conference centered on Russia and Ukraine.
Russians have been amassing troops along the Ukraine border for months, with many believing this is a prelude to an invasion.
To this point, all Biden has done is make threats, but now he is conceding that if an invasion does happen, Russia will more than likely be successful.
No Hope
All Biden has offered up are empty threats to Russia.
He continues to push the narrative that the price Russia will pay will be a dear one, although he has yet to share exactly what that will be.
Biden stated, “The cost of going into Ukraine in terms of the physical loss of life for the Russians — and they’ll, they’ll be able to prevail over time, but it’s going to be heavy.
“It’s going to be real. It’s going to be consequential.”
Russia, of course, laughs at this, as sanctions mean nothing to Putin.
This is not exactly what Ukraine or the world wants to hear right now.
The fact that Biden has now conceded that Ukraine is there for the taking means he has no plans on helping out if the situation arises with military force.
This is like something out of the “Game of Thrones” rather than a statement in the 21st Century.
It is unfathomable to think we would sit back and allow Russia to overtake an ally’s country, but that is more or less what Biden just stated.
If Russia invades Ukraine, would you support military action to help Ukraine or do you think we need to stay out of this fight?
