Someone in the Biden administration has finally lost their job for the way they are treating staffers.
Dr. Eric Lander, one of Biden’s top science advisers, has resigned.
Lander was the focus of an explosive Politico investigation into various complaints of bullying in his office.

As bad as this situation was, it could have been a huge win for Biden, but once again, they turned it into a defeat.
Over the weekend, reports started to surface about an explosive piece in Politico that would be coming out regarding the abusive behavior in Lander’s office.
As a bit of a pre-emptive strike, Lander issued a department-wide memo to apologize for his behavior.
All that did, however, was fuel the fire.
Abusing staff has been a common theme within this administration from top to bottom, but nothing has been done about it to this point.
This included how Joe Biden and Kamala Harris treated staff and media.
After taking office, Biden promised that anyone disrespecting anyone in this administration or the media would be terminated on the spot.
At the time, Biden stated, “If you are ever working with me and I hear you treat another colleague with disrespect, talk down to someone, I promise you I will fire you on the spot. On the spot. No ifs, ands or buts.”
However, after Lander sent out his memo, Biden said his job was safe, which only outraged people more.
Lander finally fell on his sword and submitted his resignation, which Biden accepted.

Biden still could have saved this by calling out Lander for his behavior.
Instead, they sent him on his way with a glowing statement regarding his accomplishments.
White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki stated, “The president accepted Dr. Eric Lander’s resignation letter this evening with gratitude for his work at OSTP on the pandemic, the Cancer Moonshot, climate change, and other key priorities.
“He knows that Dr. Lander will continue to make important contributions to the scientific community in the years ahead.”
Yet again, this administration fails epically on a promise made to the American people.
