The White House did its best to make sure that Joe Biden did not screw up.

Staffers provided the puppet with talking points and writers to call on after his budgetary address.

Even so, Joe still managed to screw it up.

Say This, Joe

When I watched Biden’s presser on Monday, I noticed how he appeared to be reading answers directly off a card during the brief Q&A period after his announcement.

Now, it is not uncommon to have some bullet points, but it appeared as though Joe was reading a word-for-word response to questions, almost as though he knew what was coming his way.

It now appears that is exactly what happened…

Well, that was what happened until Joe went off script and took a few questions from reporters he was not supposed to call on.

Biden took a few additional questions at the end that had not been anticipated, and as usual, he managed to screw the pooch.

Two things seemed to be apparent by the end of the day.

First, when the real Joe Biden comes out, it is quite apparent he is a nasty, angry, old man.

Secondly, Biden is clearly not the shot caller.

From the outset of this administration, I have speculated that someone else is pulling the strings, and Biden is merely being used as a mouthpiece.

After seeing that cheat sheet, I do not see how anyone could see things differently.
