It sure is funny how upset liberals are now that Elon Musk has the keys to Twitter.
The new Disinformation Governance Board is already being dubbed the “ministry of truth.”
The board is being tasked with combatting disinformation for the 2022 election cycle.
In other words, say something bad about Democrats, and you will get punished.
But They…
Here is the rather amusing aspect of this.
The new board will be headed by Undersecretary for Policy Rob Silvers and principal deputy general counsel Jennifer Gaskill and it will fall under the purview of the Department of Homeland Security.
Secretary Mayorkas lies just about every time he opens his face, so how much trust will anyone have in this new board?
Nina Jankowicz is also reportedly going to be the board’s executive director.
That is important to know because she has been guilty of spewing disinformation on a wide scale.
Jankowicz disseminated the debunking of the Steele dossier and called Hunter Biden’s laptop a “Trump campaign product.”
She also recently stated that she “shudder[s] to think about if free speech absolutists were taking over more platforms.”
The reaction was about as expected on the right when Mayorkas broke the news on the Hill this week…

It is pretty comical that none of this was necessary until Musk took over Twitter.
The moment the liberal horde lost control of the platform, panic mode went in, and now we are about to have state-run media.
It is not an overstatement to call this Orwellian in nature.
