This administration continues to create new offices that will help push a far-left agenda.
We have already seen the creation of a new Disinformation Governance Board.
There has also been a report for the creation of the Office of Environmental Justice that will fall under the Department of Justice.
Going Green
The new office was announced on Thursday by the Department of Justice.
Attorney General Merrick Garland and Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Michael Regan made the announcement.
It is being touted as a “hub” for “comprehensive environmental justice enforcement strategy.”
A key focus of the new office will be to “develop or enhance investigatory agencies’ protocols for assessing the environmental justice impacts during investigations.”
Garland stated, “Although violations of our environmental laws can happen anywhere, communities of color, indigenous communities, and low-income communities often bear the brunt of the harm caused by environmental crime, pollution, and climate change.
“For far too long, these communities have faced barriers to accessing the justice they deserve.
“The Office of Environmental Justice will serve as the central hub for our efforts to advance our comprehensive environmental justice enforcement strategy.
“We will prioritize the cases that will have the greatest impact on the communities most overburdened by environmental harm.”
