It does not take a village… it takes good parentings, something Democrats seem to believe can only happen from teachers.
In Florida, lawmakers are putting their foot down on teachers having age-inappropriate conversations with children.
Legislation is now making its way through the Florida legislature that will keep the sex and gender conversations where they belong, in the home.
Joe Biden appears to have a rather significant problem with that.
It’s an Attack!
Somehow, allowing parents to parent is deemed a hate attack against the LGBTQ+ community.
The new Florida legislation will ban teachers from having sexual orientation and gender conversations with young students.
When Biden saw the legislation, he ranked it right up there with a hate crime.
He stated, “I want every member of the LGBTQI+ community — especially the kids who will be impacted by this hateful bill — to know that you are loved and accepted just as you are.
“I have your back, and my Administration will continue to fight for the protections and safety you deserve.”

Here is the problem as I see it…
First, more than anything, children need consistency, which is something they will not get if this is left up to teachers.
The teacher’s own opinions and beliefs will dictate how they approach this, and since children get a new teacher every year, you can see the problems this could lead to.
Second, and more importantly, this is not something teachers should be discussing with grade-school-aged children.
These are questions for parents, not some random person the child sees a few hours five days a week.
Republican State Sen. Dennis Baxley touched on this, stating, “Some discussions are for (having) with your parents.
“And I think when you start having sexual-type discussions with children, you’re entering a very dangerous zone. Your awareness should pop up right away, this isn’t teaching.”
DeSantis added, “I think that what you’ve seen in Florida, parts of the country, is schools keeping parents out of these decisions.
“And I don’t see how you can do that.
“I also think one of the things that I think the legislature is getting at is everything should be age-appropriate.”
Press Secretary Christina Pushaw touched on the bogus narrative that the legislation outlaws the word “gay” being used by teachers.
She stated, “There is nothing in this bill preventing anyone from ‘saying gay.’
“It’s about age-appropriate education on gender and sexual orientation.”
Biden, stay out of parents’ business. This is a home issue, not a government or school issue.
