Obama promised that, and so did Joe Biden, but neither of them delivered.
Biden did it again, outraging media members by shutting them out of questions and even shutting down Johnson in mid-statement.
They Shut Us Out!
Here is the situation…
Biden and UK Prime Minster Boris Johnson had completed their meeting and were doing the obligatory presser afterward.
Johnson actually asked Biden’s permission to take a few questions.
Biden, showing his disdain for the media, answered, “Good luck.”
Johnson took a few questions from his own media, then Biden’s communication team shut it all down before the US press could get a question in, or Biden could even be asked a single question…

The media did not take the shutout very well.
One reporter stated, “That’s absurd. Two British reporters get questions and we don’t get anything.”
A formal complaint was filed with White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki over the snub, but it did not stop there.
Nigel Farage also broke down the reaction from the UK over Biden’s recent UN speech and the dodging of questions after the meeting with Johnson…
Perhaps this will be the wake-up call the media needs to really start reporting about Biden honestly.
The White House is clearly pushing the envelope on acceptable treatment of the media right now, so we just have to sit back and see if they continue to cower or start pushing back.
