Biden Lifts Sanctions on Iran Nuclear Program

Joe Biden has caved again, but this time it was to terrorists.

Reports broke late Friday night that the sanctions against the Iranian nuclear program have been lifted.

The United States got nothing in return.

So Much for Hardball

As part of lifting the sanctions, it was initially reported that the Biden administration was insisting on the release of American prisons.

Iran walked away from that deal.

Joe Biden still gave them what they wanted, however, in lifting these sanctions.

And, of course, it was all blamed on the Trump administration.

Reuters reported, “The waiver, which was rescinded by the Trump administration in May 2020, had allowed Russian, Chinese and European companies to carry out non-proliferation work at Iranian nuclear sites.

“The waiver was needed to allow for technical discussions that were key to the talks about return to the deal formally known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).”

The irony in all of this is that the deal that Joe Biden wants to put in place would not prevent Iran from having nuclear weapons.

U.S. officials believe it would only take months for Iran to be able to produce a weapon if the JCPOA was in place.

Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) responded, “As a result of President Biden’s weakness and appeasement, this administration is ramping up to give a nuclear arsenal to the Ayatollah in Iran.

“The very same Ayatollah who chants ‘Death to Israel’ and ‘Death to America,’ the Biden administration is preparing to facilitate that Ayatollah having the weapons of mass murder to carry out those pledges.”

This is just a staggering concession by Biden and one that makes absolutely no sense at all.

Just another loss… to the point that I think we need to start a new stack because the first one is about to tip over.
