Rep. Khanna: Biden Agenda Makes No Sense

One of the rising stars in the Democrat Party is clearly not backing Joe Biden on some of his most recent moves.

Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA) is hitting Biden hard on energy.

He even went so far as to criticize Biden’s upcoming trip to Saudi Arabia.

Makes No Sense

Khanna has been distancing himself from Biden for months now, so it is not surprising that he is targeting this trip for criticism.

When the trip was initially planned, it was believed that Biden would be getting on his knees to beg Saudis for oil.

During Joe’s recent G7 and NATO trips, however, French President Macron told Biden the Saudis have no extra oil to give.

Now the Biden administration is spinning the trip to Saudi as a favor for Israel, which nobody is buying, including Khanna.

The California Democrat stated,  “Well, two things, one, we do need to increase, short-term, the refining capacity. … But second, we’re exporting 3.44 million barrels of oil every day.

“Sen. Jack Reed (D-RI) and I, months ago, said that we should temporarily ban the export of this oil.

“I don’t understand why we’re allowing the oil to be exported to countries like China when we need it here in the United States.

“I think the bigger issue is that we’re allowing the export of our oil.

“I don’t get that, why a country that has a shortage right now of oil is allowing 3.44 million barrels every day to be sold outside. Before 2015, that was not allowed.

“And if you stop that, you would have a dramatic decrease in price.”

You can see his full segment in the video below…

Khanna is dead-on regarding exports, as the current export rate is about 17 percent of what the US uses on a daily basis.

If we kept that oil here, it would probably drop the price of gasoline around $.50 per gallon, at least.

How many times has Joe Biden stated that he is doing everything he can to help fight inflation and gasoline prices?

Well, a member of his own party just called Biden out on that lie… now all we need is the media to do the same.
