Remember when herd immunity was around 70 percent, then 75 percent, then 80 percent?

Well, those were the good old days.

As Joe Biden was getting his booster shot, he officially moved the goalposts on the “normal” number to “97 percent, 98 percent.”

So Much for Science

This administration is now determined to buckle everyone that does not want to take the jab.

Don’t take the vaccine and you are in the military, you get a dishonorable discharge.

Don’t take the vaccine and you are work for the government, you lose your job.

Want to fly and have not taken the vaccine, well, it is only a matter of time before you cannot do that, either.

With the threat of mandates and restrictions in place, Biden just threw a number out there not backed by science of any kind.

A reporter asked him, “How many Americans need to be vaccinated for us to get back to normal?”

Joe’s answer… “97 percent, 98 percent. I think we will get awful close.”

The biggest number given on any scale by scientists topped off at around 85 percent, but most believed herd immunity would be in the 70 to 75 percent range.

Currently, about 55 percent of the population has already been fully vaccinated, and that number will surely rise over the next month or so as latecomers receive their second shot.

The question that should have been asked of Biden is how many illegal immigrants will be required to get vaccinated.

I can answer that… none.
