Yes, we are back to the corruption that this administration has opened itself up to due to Hunter Biden’s summer camp art.
Buyers of the artwork have been kept anonymous, but we do know that Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti attended one of the shows.
Garcetti has also been nominated as an Ambassador for India.
Our corrupt Democrat-led Senate Foreign Relations Committee also just approved his appointment.
Crime Pays
Let me do my best impression of Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) and make up the conversation as I believe it took place between Biden and Garcetti.
Garcetti: Hey, Joe, I would really like one of those ambassador spots.
Biden: Well, Eric, then you are going to need to line the pockets of my son.
G: No problem, Joe, I just purchased a watercolor for my closet from Hunter’s collection in LA.
B: Great, let me check on the purchase price and I will let you know what we can do for you.
Several days later…
B: Okay, Eric, for the price you paid, we can give you India; that is about as good as it will get.
G: I will take it! Anything to get out of LA now that crime is surging out of control.
(To be clear for the trolls, that was a made-up conversation of how I think this appointment went down.)
Back in October, CBS News Radio reporter Steven Portnoy put Psaki on the spot, asking, “Should we expect to see more people who seek jobs in this administration attending events like this in the future?”
Psaki, of course, dodged the question, stating, “I’d refer [you] to the gallerist for questions about the event as well as the representatives of Mr. Garcetti in terms of his attendance.”
Here is the thing…
The moment that question was asked, the White House should have pulled his nomination, knowing there would be ethics concerns surrounding the appointment.
However, that did not happen because this administration knows it is above the law and can do just about anything it wants right now without repercussion.
That ends in 12 months… so put this appointment on the list of things to investigate because we need to know every person who bought a Biden painting and how much they paid for it.
If Garcetti is on that list, I think we all know what that means.
Do you think the Senate should approve Garcetti as an ambassador?
