Joe Biden has finally revealed his strategy to combat inflation.
He is going to do absolutely nothing.
As far as Biden is concerned, this is the Fed’s job to fix.
I Choose to Punt
Biden has no plan… for anything.
We have seen that with COVID.
We have seen it with supply chain shortages.
We have seen it with rising gasoline prices.
Joe is sitting back, taking weekend vacations, and hoping for the best.
He all but admitted that is going to be his plan in regard to inflation as well.
On Tuesday, Biden met with Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell.
While Democrats have been anxiously awaiting Biden’s plan so they can sell it on the campaign trail for the mid-term elections, Biden has disappointed them again.
He stated, “I’m meeting with the chairman today and [Treasury] Secretary [Janet] Yellen to discuss my top priority, that is addressing inflation in order to transition from a historic recovery to a steady growth that works for American families.
“And my plan is to address inflation.
“It starts with a simple proposition: respect the Fed and respect the Fed’s independence, which I have done and will continue to do.”
So, Biden’s plan is to hope interest hikes solve the entire problem that he has created regarding inflation in this country.
And he wonders why his staffers are leaving en masse and Democrats do not even want him on the campaign trail with them during this campaign season.
