Joe Biden’s White House televised speeches are fake outs, a la the Jim Carrey movie “Truman.”
The Biden administration has had a mock White House set made for TV interviews and press conferences.
This has spurred significant pushback and some pretty interesting theories as to why this is happening.
Biden or Truman?
The set comes complete with a digital view of the Rose Garden in full bloom.
Why Biden is using a fake set rather than actual White House rooms is unknown, but there are plenty of ideas floating around.
One of the most interesting ones was given by former Trump adviser Stephen Miller…
The reason Biden uses this bizarre virtual set for televised meetings—and not an actual room like East Room, Cabinet, Oval, Roosevelt, Sit Room, etc.—is because it allows him to read a script directly from a face-on monitor (& w/out teleprompter glass that can be seen on camera). https://t.co/Uc4Ly9kL7T

New Hampshire journalist Kimberly Morin had another take…
Do they not allow him in the actual White House?

This is yet another bizarre facet of this administration that goes unexplained, as conservative podcaster Benny Johnson pointed out…
Why does Joe Biden feel the need to use a Fake White House set across the street from the actual White House? pic.twitter.com/5p7TLwoPmw

Maybe there is a reasonable explanation, such as they can provide better lighting and not constantly have to tear down sets in White House rooms, but the fact we have never seen this before makes that argument irrelevant.
On the surface, it just looks like Biden is doing something else to try to trick people.
I have always called Biden a puppet, believing someone else is really calling the shots, so maybe Morin was on to something.
Maybe this is like Joe Biden’s playroom while the adults conduct the real business at the REAL White House.
