Joe Biden is a disgrace.
There is simply no other way to perceive his most recent statement.
Biden confirmed that he would not send troops into Ukraine to rescue American citizens if Russia invades Ukraine before they can get out.
Abandoning Americans… Again
Nobody wants to see America get into another war, especially defending another country’s border when we are not even defending our own.
Having said that, Russia needs to be put on notice that if Americans are harmed in any way, there will be consequences.
Biden admitted that he would not send troops in to help Americans, abandoning them as he did in Afghanistan.
He said that if he did send troops, it would be a “world war” and “things could go crazy quickly.”
The only advice he had for Americans was to “leave now.”
And while I am sure that is what most are doing, it may not be all that easy for some people to just up and leave everything behind in a heartbeat.
When Biden was directly asked if he had issued any warnings to Putin, he stated, “I didn’t have to tell him that, I’ve spoken about that. He knows that.”
Apparently, he doesn’t because there are reports now surfacing that Putin has made up his mind to go in, that it is just a matter of when.
If that invasion does occur soon, the sad reality is that Biden does not even have a clue how many Americans are in the country, and he probably does not want to know.
The news will be bad enough if a single American gets left behind, let alone hundreds or thousands.
It would also more than likely spell the end of Joe Biden politically.
I just don’t see how anyone associated with this administration could recover from this.
We are also looking at some rather significant hits by our allies who will simply no longer trust us if we were unable to keep Russia out of Ukraine.
